2 Links

I know you're all on the edge of your seats, waiting for the next installment of the Rolling Jelly series. But while I get my act together on that and deal with some things related to the day job, here are two links of interest.

1. GK sent along this nice Times-Picayune audio-visual feature on the town of Erath, LA, and the citizens grappling with the notion of moving their town to higher ground -- or sticking with the way things are.

2. Mamish, down in N.O., sent along a link to recorded interview with Antoinette K-Doe. She mentions trying to get the anniversary of K-Doe's death turned into a national holiday, as well as the upcoming re-opening of the Mother-In Law in late August. There'll be a party: "Lots of free food. Cash bar." Toward the end there's a discussion of what Ernie did to bring the races together.

Thank you, gentlemen...
