Promotional Items

We’re staying near Savannah, Georgia, for a little while -- in the region that for some reason seems to be called "The Coastal Empire." Anyway, I’m pleased to say that the indefatigable Garrett County Press has used its wizard-like powers to finagle an actual Letters From New Orleans event, by way of the Savannah College of Art and Design. This reading/lecture/signing/whatever will occur at 7 p.m. on March 1 -- Ash Wednesday, it happens -- at SCAD’s Orleans Hall (built in 1937, it “once housed the offices of a Savannah car dealership"), at 201 Barnard St. A bit more detail here, though you have to scroll down. I'm just below "Yoga Flow."

Author proceeds from LfNO go to relief organizations. Tell all your Coastal Imperialist friends & relations...

UPDATE: Big thanks to John Stoehr of the Savannah Morning News for this interview. I believe that free registration is required to read it, but if you go through that you'll get to see a picture of my dog. Isn't that incentive enough?
